Aditya (Adi) Mantri is a Senior Director of Engineering at Carta, a leading equity management platform. With over 13 years of experience in the field, Adi is an accomplished Engineering Manager who has built and led product engineering teams by fostering a culture of continuous improvement. He is passionate about talent management, from recruiting to coaching engineers and is constantly looking for ways to make teams more productive. Prior to his current role, Adi served as Director of Development Engineering at AppDirect, a cloud service commerce company. He was responsible for building and leading the development team, managing the development process, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software products. Before that, he worked as a Technology Analyst at Goldman Sachs, where he developed JAVA APIs for trading and sales applications, improved the performance of several APIs, built securitized views in Sybase IQ, and led the effort of many production upgrades. Adi holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Columbia Engineering and a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai. He also completed his AISSCE (Class 12) from Kendriya Vidyalaya and his schooling from Naval Public School (Mumbai). Adi's technical skills include Senior Software Engineering and Java.
